Matrox ConvertIP SRH is a compact, standalone ST 2110 and IPMX encoder/decoder device. Featuring one RJ45 port, ConvertIP SRH is designed for 1G AV workflows and is optimal for an ultra-low latency experience. The device can receive power over Ethernet through its RJ45 connection, or it can be powered through an optional power supply unit. Both can be used simultaneously to deliver power redundancy.
HDMI to IP
With support for HDMI input and output, ConvertIP SRH can seamlessly convert HDMI signals to and from IP. This provides a simple way to connect to displays and equipment and provides flexible and scalable IP transport.
Compact and flexible
ConvertIP SRH can be configured as either a transmitter or receiver, providing flexibility and reducing the need for extra hardware. Its fanless, quiet, and compact design means you can install it anywhere - whether in a server room or behind a monitor. For larger setups, a single 1RU rack shelf can hold up to three ConvertIP SRH appliances, maximizing space in your rack.
Compressed IP transport
Designed to adapt to various workflows, ConvertIP SRH supports multiple transport options for maximum flexibility:
• Includes the Pro AV codec for visually lossless compression of media over 1G network
• Optional JPEG-XS license for SMPTE ST 2110-22 support
• Transmit and receive audio using SMPTE ST 2110-30 and AES67
• Achieves subframe glass-to-glass latencies using either codec
Built on open standards
With full IPMX/ST 2110 compatibility, ConvertIP SRH integrates with other IPMX/ST 2110 devices and equipment, optimizing workflows and reducing installation complexity. NMOS open APIs simplify device discovery and connection management ensure future-proof installations across IP workflows and environments.
