This wall charger fits over your existing power wall plate and adds 1 additional power outlet and 2 USB charging ports. The USB ports provide a shared 2.1 amp max so they are capable of charging tablets and phones that require the extra juice to get charged, including the new iPads. They of course will charge other USB devices plugged into them as well.
