The 98Wh, 14.4V Hi-Q98 Portable Lithium-Ion Battery from Remote Audio features a sophisticated circuitry that balances the charging and discharging of the internal cells, and communicates with the chargers and devices it is powering.
The Hi-Q battery is small and lightweight, and lasts a long time when compared to an NP-1 style battery. At 98 watt-hours, the Hi-Q battery has 30% more capacity than a lithium NP-1, while being smaller and lighter overall. The Hi-Q battery uses the Inspired Energy standard and contact configuration, so it is interchangeable with products made for this same standard.
