In addition to a fully-featured Mix/Effects bank, Carbonite Black Solo provides two independent MiniMEs that can be used as additional compositing and layering engines. MiniMEs are the perfect tools for feeding on-set monitors or IMAG projectors without tying up the main ME bus.

Like all Carbonites, Black Solo features a powerful macro system that allows operators to easily create customized sequences for controlling switcher events and external devices. Its on-board memory system with flexible store and recall functionality provides simple, one-button access to operator-built effects.

Carbonite Black Solo is part of Ross Video's DashBoard control ecosystem. DashBoard extends configuration and control of Black Solo to any network-connected computer making remote system monitoring or multi-user operations simple.
