The Fiber Guy STREAMannouncer is a USB audio device that connects your talent to the cloud. The simple control layout brings the tried-and-true broadcast announcer workflow to the modern world, with minimal effort.
The STREAMannouncer is recognized by your computer as two discrete audio interfaces, each with a playback and microphone audio device. These Main and Auxiliary audio paths bring familiar "Program and Interrupt" and "Main and Talkback" functionality to your PC-based production.
Easy to Use
Mute to silence your mic at any time, and press Aux to quickly redirect your voice from one app to another. On-surface control knobs allow for an effortless audio balance. Metering and an intuitive menu on the color LCD complete the package.
Simple Software Setup
As a USB audio class-compliant device, no software or drivers are needed. Simply assign the two STREAMannouncer paths to your preferred softwares. For example: connect "Main" to your streaming application, and "Aux" to a videoconference with your production team.
Automatic Audio Setup
Good audio levels can be hard, so The Fiber Guy made it easy. They've included an "Auto Setup" feature that can make this a breeze. Choose "Auto Setup" and follow the prompts as directed: first yell loudly, then speak at a normal volume. STREAMannouncer will set the preamp gain and USB levels automatically.
DSP On Board
Activate a fully-featured studio compressor with a simple on/off control, or enable advanced mode for total control. It also features a configurable hi-pass rumble filter and a USB overload protection limiter to make sure you are always sounding great.
Off Air Communication
The "Aux" audio path is designed for off-air communication-for example, a production team or private voice chat. When someone speaks to you on this "Aux" path, STREAMannouncer ducks the "Main" audio in one or both ears. The AUX button reroutes your microphone on the fly.
Convenience
Less than 5" wide and 4" deep, it fits any desk. The LCD displays studio-style meters with RMS, peak, and clip indicators. Includes a lock-out feature and runs on USB power. No separate supply is needed.
