Burst Electronics SG-7 SMPTE Color Bar & Blackburst Generators

The SG-7 Color Bar/Black Burst Generator is a low cost generator that produces one output of SMPTE Color Bars and six outputs of Black Burst. The SG-7 is designed to provide genlock signals for a variety of video equipment such as source decks, edit controllers, mixers, SEGs, cameras, etc. With the addition of the SG-7 to your Edit System, all equipment is genlocked to one source. The SG-7 may be used to "lay down" bars on tape, or to correctly set the color and brightness of video monitors. The SG-7 may also be used as a video source for testing cables and adjusting equalizing DAs, etc. The output, which contains composite sync, color burst and the SMPTE Color Bar pattern (and six Black Bursts), is a standard 1 Volt signal designed to be terminated into 75 ohms.
