The 12GDIN4855MB Series 12G-SDI DIN1.0/2.3 to 12G-SDI HD-BNC video adapter cables by Laird feature Belden's popular 4855R 12G miniature RG59 cable to fit in tight spaces and minimize cable weight. These cables find their home in the broadcast video market on Evertz routers, AJA & Blackmagic PCIe video cards and more. The Laird cable shop has designed these DIN video cables with the latest 12G infrastructure in mind. The thin profile makes them perfect for studio routing and ENG trucks because of its light weight. This cable is perfect for adapting 12G-SDI DIN 1.0/2.3 video gear to an HD-BNC infrastructure.

12G-SDI Maximum Distance
Laird certifies this cable to work at a max transmission distance of 117ft for 12G-SDI even though Belden may show this distance as 149ft. To meet the Laird max transmission standard, signal integrity must remain 100% functional without any CRC errors. Your 12G-SDI ST 2082 signals may function at or beyond the manufacturer-certified lengths without issues; however, when CRC errors are present there could be drops in audio, video, meta, and ancillary data. In most circumstances, video integrity remains intact at OEM distance.
