The Atlona OME-EX-WP-KIT-LT is an HDBaseT extender with wallplate transmitter, for video, control, and USB over distances up to 230 feet (70 meters). This kit contains the AT-OME-EX-TX-WP-LT Wall plate transmitter and the AT-OME-EX-RX-LT desktop receiver. The OME-EX-WP-KIT-LT is part of the Omega™ Series of integration products for modern AV communications and collaboration. It provides a simple two-piece extension solution for HDMI and USB in hybrid and distance learning applications.
The wallplate transmitter allows flush mounting onto an instructor's desk or lectern. HDBaseT extension links the transmitter with the receiver behind the display - connected into the display and camera.
Great for meeting rooms too
The wallplate transmitter for the OME-EX-WP-KIT-LT can be discreetly installed into a table box, hidden away from view, while providing the convenience of connecting a speakerphone and a laptop for video conferencing. The receiver is tucked behind the display, providing connectivity for the display as well as the camera.
Use with interactive displays
USB extension gives you the freedom to use a touch display to interact with a presenter's laptop, or remotely control a PC-equipped interactive display. You can even use this functionality alongside distance learning or video conferencing.
Applications
Video conferencing - The OME-EX-WP-KIT-LT is ideal for soft codec and web-based conferencing applications, with the ability to integrate with a PC and speakerphone or microphone near presenters, and a camera or soundbar at the wallmounted display.
Interactive displays - The OME-EX-WP-KIT-LT can provide AV and USB extension for a touch-enabled display, allowing remote PC control at a wall, lectern, or other location.
Classrooms - This extender kit is also ideal for classroom applications such as distance learning, with the wallplate transmitter installed on a desk or lectern for easy instructor access.
