The PAS-200 Passive Multi-Pair Audio Switcher from BDI is designed to accept up to two sets of 16 balanced pairs of A/B inputs, switch between them, and provide sixteen (16) outputs. The unit can be configured to switch each channel individually or in any grouping of two or more channel groups as desired. The PAS-200 can be configured for individual pair switching to up to sixteen (16) preset groups. Standard groupings are provided, and the user can perform custom group programming. In its basic form, the user can control any one of the sixteen (16) channels individually, stereo pairs, or multiple pairs of greater than two. The signal path is passive via relay sets, allowing analog and digital audio signals and low-voltage DC control signals to pass through the switcher. The signal path is passive, with no active circuitry, using sets of relays that allow analog and digital audio signals, as well as control signals, to pass through the switcher
The PAS-200 supports up to 16 A/B pairs of balanced analog or AES3 digital audio (non- synchronous) and low-voltage DC control signals. Optional remote control panel and audio breakout panels are available for expanded connectivity and control.
Ethernet SNMP Interface
In addition to traditional GPIO remote control, the PAS-200 now features an Ethernet SNMPv2 interface, enabling seamless integration with networked monitoring and control systems for advanced remote management.
RS485 Serial Interface
The addition of an RS485 serial interface provides even greater flexibility for remote control and automation.
All-New Windows GUI Software
The PAS-200 now ships with a completely redesigned Windows-based GUI remote control application. This free software offers increased functionality, intuitive group and channel configuration, and a cleaner, more modern appearance, making setup and monitoring effortless.
Dual Power Supplies
Reliability is further enhanced with dual power supplies and separate power cords, now standard on every PAS-200 unit.
