NXG-AQR8 - Overview

A receiver/input module that allows the user to ingest from Off-Air and/or QAM input sources!

Pulling in Off-Air or QAM sources usually means dedicating separate hardware to each. The Blonder Tongue NXG-AQR8 ATSC/QAM Input Module ingests both from a single NXG slot - up to eight VSB or QAM sources at once, outputs as SPTS straight to your NXG backplane.

The NXG-AQR8 can accept encrypted QAM sources, and output the encrypted IP transport streams programs to the NXG backplane.

The module supports up to eight QAM-256 outputs that are agile from 54MHz to 1002MHz as long as all eight outputs are kept within a 768MHz span.

Whether you're consolidating Off-Air Reception or building out a Remote PHY architecture, the NXG-AQR8 gives you eight independent input paths without eating eight slots of rack space.
