WB-MAP100 - Overview

The WB-MAP100 Mobile Access Point mounts to the vehicle roof alongside the WB-CELL200 Cellular Uplink. It receives the 5GHz signals from the cameras and other network devices and delivers them to the uplink via a short network cable. All of the electronics of both the access point and uplink are IP67 (moisture) rated and designed all weather and temperature conditions. The WB-MAP100 creates a secure mobile hotspot that allows your crew to access newsroom systems, file servers and the internet all while streaming live video.

By using the WB-MAP100, your Wi-Fi signal can be enhanced to stream video in churches and their annexes, classrooms, courtrooms, auditoriums, gymnasiums, athletic fields and outdoor theaters. This is an ideal application where mobility and signal strength is paramount. The lightweight construction makes transporting the unit from venue to venue simple and easy. All of the electronics and antennas are securely mounted to the base plate and are IP67 (moisture) rated and designed for harsh outdoor environments.

Installation is simple: the WB-MAP100 includes an AC power supply and Gigabit PoE Injector (pictured) to provide the Power over Ethernet connection required for operation. The WB-MAP100 has also been calibrated to provide your JVC Professional Streaming Cameras the best signal reception possible!

Heads up! Did you know that when used in combination with the Hawking HD65U USB Wi-Fi Network Adapter, you will enable JVC Professional camcorders with streaming capability to span a distance of up to 400 ft., more than the length of an entire football or soccer field!
