    32090 - Overview

With a ruggedized metal housing, the Magewell 32090 USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus is a 1-channel 4K capture dongle that has support for HDMI 2.0, 4K 60fps 4:4:4 input signals and can capture HDMI with embedded audio from even the newest game consoles such as PS4 Pro and XBOX One S. It's suitable for all kinds of mobile video capturing settings, even for outdoor use.

The dongle has full colorimetry support, captures resolutions of up to 4096 x 2160 and frame rates of up to 120fps. It allows for full 8-bit video processing with features such as cropping, scaling, de-interlacing, aspect ratio, color format and frame rate conversion and vertical flip and mirror. It has an input interface as well as a loop-through one, which enables monitoring the image while streaming/recording. Audio input is available through the Mic 3.5mm jack and audio output via the Headphone 3.5mm jack, which enables you to extract the embedded audio from the HDMI signal or simply for computer playback. You have the ability to connect multiple devices to one system and they all can be upgraded simultaneously. High quality chips and other components are used to ensure accurate video capture.

The USB Capture Plus Family features a good user experience because it's so easy to use, and many of the functions are automatic. Users don't need to install drivers on Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X (NOTE: The Magewell Plugin for Adobe Premiere® is Windows-only. Mac/Premiere® users will need to source a third-party software). Simply plug it in and the driver will be installed. The dongles are plug-and-play and driverless. These dongles automatically determine the input video format and then automatically converts it to the specified output size and frame rate. It will determine the input audio format and convert it to 48kHz PCM stereo audio. The device is compatible with most popular professional third party software for streaming, recording, video conferencing, video stitching, VJ, etc. It supports multiple Windows, Linux, Mac operating systems as well as Chrome operating system, Windows, Linux and Mac OS APIs and multiple software platforms such as vMix, Wirecast and Adobe Flash Media Encoder.

USB 3.1/3.0 interface is used and no external power is needed. It also has a USB 2.0 port, but the real-time frame rate and transmission will be reduced through this port due to limited bandwidth. Includes a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
