The Neutrik NO2MW-XP opticalCON DRAGONFLY is a Male chassis connector with ruggedized anticorrosive plating, 4 crimp contacts, 1 XB2 feedthrough socket and 1 shell ground contact for SMPTE cable shield. Waterproof acc. to protection class IP68 in mated condition with sealing kit SCXP-M. The connector comes pre-assembled.

The chassis connector acts as a feedthrough allowing simplified installations by connecting a XB2 patch cable on the rear. The chassis cut-out has the same size as common standard broadcast cut-outs and is therefore simple to integrate into existing systems. Additional lockable dirt and dust protection: SCNO2MW-XP sealing cover.

Expanded Beam Meets Broadcast & AV
Neutrik's opticalCON DRAGONFLY fiber optic connector series offers advanced lens technology for the Broadcast and AV Market with a more robust, reliable and easier to maintain system than common SMPTE hybrid camera signal transmission systems. DRAGONFLY is based on the patented XB2- Technology. Its innovative fusion splice high performance lens transmits UHD 4K and 8K signals with very low loss as the signal surface of the XB2 lens is 322 times bigger than physical contact surfaces. This further results in low insensitivity against dust and dirt.

The DRAGONFLY connector offers long life with very low maintenance. It can also withstand harsh and demanding environments and is dust and moisture insensitive. Additionally, DRAGONFLY is robust against vibration and therefore has low potential for damage. And if there ever is a problem, DRAGONFLY is field repairable. With this new technology, DRAGONFLY provides a complete solution for the Broadcast and AV Market.
