    SES-GUITONE-010 - Overview

    The Sescom SES-GUITONE cable assembly with Neutrik NP2RX-ULTIMATE plug and Canare GS-6 cable allows musicians to change timbre and avoid annoying pop and feedback when mating guitar instruments. The high quality instrument interface cable features a standard 1/4" straight plug to right angle 1/4" plug with timbre control and silent plug.

    Get ready for a whole new experience in recording and performing. Twang, Funk, Chicken Pickin', blues and beyond, this cable will expand your available tones right at your fingertips- regardless of make and model of your guitar.

    Silent Switch
    The ultimatePLUG automatically mutes a guitar cable to avoid pops and squeals when changing the guitar under load. The integrated silent switch is based on REED-technology and guarantees a lifetime beyond 10,000 mating cycles. Note: the signal isn't muted with some types of active electric guitars equipped with tip-ring-sleeve jacks that tap to activate the guitar power supply.

    Timbre Options
    Neutrik's ultimatePLUG allows you to change the timbre of your guitar sound from neutral, clear sound to warm characteristics in 4 steps by turning a knob on the plug. The ultimatePLUG 4-way detent tone shaper blasts your electric, acoustic or bass guitar into new sonic territories with a flick of a finger. When used with the Strat's 5-way switch you now have 20 possible tone shapes on tap. Add it to a telecaster and you have the same incredible tone shaping capabilities. Les Paul style guitars get treated to the same sonic sweetness with this cable. Use the SES-GUITONE with your acoustic guitar and you have an amazing EQ tool right at your fingertips for quick tone changes during or in-between songs.

    Canare GS-6 Cable
    The Canare GS-6 cable further enhances the experience by offering the cleanest signal possible between instrument and amp. Low capacitance and low series resistance provides improved frequency response (flat to 50kHz). A bright, ringing characteristic sound is preserved, even when using HI-Z guitar pickups with long cable runs. The proprietary double carbon/braid copper shield construction eliminates microphonic handling noise, especially on stage where amps are often set at maximum volume levels.
