The Yamaha DXR15MKIII is a 2-way, bi-amped, powered loudspeaker that delivers the lowest frequency range in the new lineup with exceptional clarity, precision, and a powerful 134dB SPL. DSP Mode with AUTO V/H POSITION Function
The loudspeaker offers DSP modes tailored for specific configurations or applications: FOH/MAIN and MONITOR. FOH/MAIN boosts high and low frequencies for main speaker use, and is the default setting. MONITOR ensures clarity for floor monitor use, suppressing excessive bass that can occur when placed on the floor. An internal accelerometer detects speaker orientation, enabling automatic mode setting (can be disabled), streamlining setup and reducing workload on site. It also features optimized presets for a range of applications such as DJ performance, live band sound, and speech developed in collaboration with Yamaha by the team at our group company NEXO, who possess deep expertise in loudspeaker design and technology.
Intelligent Feedback Suppressor
Equipped with a powerful, intelligent feedback suppressor, the system automatically suppresses feedback in real time for handheld microphones (DYNAMIC mode) and detects and sets feedback-prone points for fixed microphones (FIXED mode). These modes can be used independently or in combination to dramatically reduce unpleasant feedback caused by sound looping from speaker to microphone.
Drive Motion Calibration
The "Drive Motion Calibration" utilizes a proprietary DSP algorithm to correct speaker movement, delivering low-distortion, high-quality sound in the LF range that surpasses conventional limitations. This technology ensures that the speaker's behavior accurately follows the input signal, enabling more linear low-frequency reproduction. As a result, it achieves outstanding reliability and acoustic performance, making it a reliable choice for a range of professional environments.
