Introducing the Sescom SES-DAC2, a powerful, yet simple compact device for converting any S/PDIF and Toslink optical audio signal into an analog stereo signal via RCA (L,R) as well as 3.5mm stereo. This USB-powered device features a smooth glide volume control knob as well as a Bass Level Controller. It also supports simultaneous output via the RCA's & the 3.5mm connectors. Not only can you adjust the dBs & the low end, you can also split the signal! It's a converter and a splitter in one awesome package.
The unit also has auto sensing for both the SPDIF and Toslink inputs. It auto senses and switches to, by default, the 24-bit S/PDIF stream over the Toslink when a signal is present. Simply disable or disconnect the S/PDIF cable and the SES-DAC2 automatically switches over to Toslink with no signal loss. With spported Sample Rates of 44.1, 48, and 192 KHz your signal remains pristine, transparent and totally Hi-Fi all housed in a rugged metal shell.
