    HBX-R - Overview

The HBX-R is a Class A HDBaseT compliant Receiver that supports 100 meter Cat6 range and is used to extend HDMI, RS-232, IR, and Ethernet (100BaseT) up to 100 meters (328 feet) using a single Cat6 cable.

Since this product uses the HDBaseT standard, video is extended pixel-by-pixel with no compression or latency. The extender supports all PC and HDTV Resolutions including 4K @ 30 Hz 4:4:4 or 4K @ 60 Hz 4:2:0. The IR extension preserves the modulation (carrier) frequency thereby providing compatibility to most standards.

The HBX-R Receiver includes a universal 5v power supply. IR emitter and IR detector cables are included.

Note about Power Supply: When connected to HBX-S, the Receiver needs the power supply connected as shown above. However, certain Senders, such as the HSM-44-BX Matrix Switch provide Power-over-Cable on their HDBaseT outputs eliminating the need for connecting a power supply to the Receiver.
