Sescom's X-FA2LRT01 is the complete plug-and-play RCA audio over fiber extender for sending 2-Channel unbalanced line-level audio up to 984 feet over a single OM3 or OM4 Multimode fiber optic cable, or 12.4 miles over one Single Mode ST fiber optic cable.
The beauty of using Audio over Fiber is that the fiber provides immunity to hum and RF interference when compared to its copper counterpart. This allows the SES-X-FA2LRT01 to reliably deliver crystal clear audio no matter the setup. This simple solution allows for creative control for sending a mixer's master output back to a recording room, outside broadcast truck, or other device where long distanced would present a problem with traditional copper cabling.
Each set comes with a transmitter and receiver that features two unbalanced RCA inputs, a single (Simplex) ST connector. ST fiber optic connections which offer a bayonet lock-in-place to help prevent accidental signal disconnections. LED indicators provide a quick and easy way to monitor the system's operating status.
The redesigned enclosure offers versatile installation options, including front- or rear-facing, quarter-rack mounting, half-rack mounting, and surface mounting. The SES-X-FA2LRT01 is well suited for equipment racks, studios, venues, house of worship, broadcast facilities and permanent AV installations.
