The ClearCom V-BOX-X6 is a highly versatile empty enclosure to convert any Clear-Com Encore Intercom System KB 4-Gang sized speaker station (sold separately) into a portable desktop, shelf or wall mounted unit. Encore ® is a 2-wire analog partyline system with intuitive plug-and-play design and superior "Clear-Com Sound" audio clarity. The KB speaker station is secured to the V-Box with four screws in either a vertical or an angled mounting slot. A blank plate with cable passthroughs and wall mounting keyholes is provided to cover the second mounting slot.
The Dual Channel V-Box-X6 is equipped with "Switchcraft ™-style" 6-pin male and female XLR connectors on the side of the unit. They are wired in parallel, for dual channel connectivity to a partyline intercom line. Internally a pre-wired wiring harness is provided for easy connection to the KB station. The V-Box-X6 can be series-connected with 6-pin capable Clear-Com stations and accessories, such as the RS-702 beltpack, YC-36 adaptors and dual pair IC-2P cables.
