H-4K-UHD-QAM-IP - Overview

The H-4HDMI-QAM-IP is an exciting new QAM modulator with a wide range of features. This unit is a four channel CATV headend in a box. Featuring 4 HDMI inputs that are fully HDMI compliant, meaning you can connect it to a Blu Ray, DVD, or digital Set Top Box. This unit also streams all 4 inputs out as an IP stream for IPTV systems. This unit allows you to create a 4 channel mini headend that serves your existing coax network and at the same time gives you the ability to develop a future IP network based TV system. These units provide a standard QAM digital Cable output with four programs. The RF signal can be combined with outputs from other modulators to create a larger lineup of channels. These modulators also have ASI inputs and outputs. In addition to the 4 HDMI channels you can also insert a multiple program ASI that will be combined on the modulated QAM output. This way you can create a QAM channel with more than just 4 programs running on it. The whole system is controlled over the network via our Network Management Software that lets you control program settings, PIDs and channel lineups from anywhere in the world.
