The TKIT-12G SDI Fiber Converter extends 12G-SDI digital video (75ohm HD-BNC™ Coax) over fiber. The TKIT-12G is offered in two versions. The units offer either bi-Directional (Transceiver) and multi-channel (Transmitter or Receiver) support.
The TKIT-12G/1CH offers bidirectional 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI over two fibers, like a Transceiver.
The TKIT-12G/2CH TX/RX offers support for 2 channels of 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI in one direction over fiber. You need to use two strands of single mode fiber to support two channels, using a Transmit Unit on one side and a Receive unit on the other. Only one single mode fiber is required for one channel of single direction transport.
