    MSC-XA1616L - Overview

    The Matrix Switch MSC-XA1616L Stereo Analog Audio Routing Switcher has 16 inputs and 16 outputs as well as a built in control system for standalone operation.

    The MSC-XA1616L utilizes D25 connectors for inputs and outputs at up to +24DBm with a 120dB S/N ratio. The D25 connectors are Tascam pinout compatible offering compatibility with several 3rd party breakout adapters to convert to male XLR, female XLR, or compression screw terminal strips. In addition to Tascam adapter break out cables, low cost pre-assembled 25 wire cable with D connectors or ribbon cable can be used to install these systems, drastically cutting down on time and labor costs.

    Matrix Switch Corporation routers provide several options for control and system integration. The built-in webpage interface offers a convenient method for control and configuration using a PC or mobile device (Interactive Demo). In addition to the powerful yet easy to use MASCOT protocol, there is support for some common 3rd party protocols. Additional control interfaces on this router include: USB, RS-485, RS-232, AUX GPIO, and TCP/IP over the Ethernet interface. Matrix Switch Corporation Remote Panels can also be used with this router for remote control up to a virtually unlimited distance over TCP/IP. The built-in button panel provides an additional interface for directly changing the matrix routing state.
