SKB 1916 Casters for Shock Mount Cases

The SKB "Shock Rack" cases feature an internal frame system mounted on eight coiled shock absorbers. These revolutionary shocks are designed to control the effects of impact and vibration on three axis. The "sway" space around the internal frame provides natural air conditioning; very important for delicate equipment. SKB racks are half the weight of the old woodys. Revolutionary shock absorber coils provide lightweight protection. Non-foam design allows air to circulate freely around floating frame, preventing heat buildup when powered. Meets all ATA specs. Features rear rack rails, front & rear covers and 20" rackable depth.
